Special Focus Day: Open Source Business Opportunities

Parallel to the Plat_forms competition, OSBF will host a special day event on all to do with “Open Source Business Opportunities”. In a range of workshops, presentations and project reports, OSBF will present its ongoing activities and offer inspiration and impetus on how open source can be used to bring economic advantages.

Themes and points of focus are:

- Open Cloud (OSBF)
- Interoperability (Microsoft & Microdoc)
- Industry Working Groups (Eclipse Foundation)
- OpenETCS (Deutsche Bahn)
- IT Personnel Certification (LPI)
- Public Relations for Open Source Companies

All those interested in the world of open source business are welcome to join. Opportunities abound to learn more about OSBF’s work and speak with project partners and board members. Between presentations, much time is scheduled for casual networking.

The special focus day will close at 6pm with the OSBF General Meeting.
